Emergence(y)

Another night of strange and disturbing dreams followed by a strange and disturbing wakefulness. Sometimes I wonder if collectively we are influencing each other’s ability to rest, let alone sleep, as these times yield some harder days than others. Certainly everyday is disturbing on some level if we allow ourselves to invite in the darkness. Thought I would draw and draw and draw the dark this morning until I forgot about everything else. Then I had a pile of muddy muck in front of me. Then I found the emerging light.
